Prohibited & Hazardous Items

To protect merchants, customers, and carrier partners, Deliveri restricts certain items from being shipped using Deliveri-generated shipping labels.

Some products cannot be transported due to safety risks, carrier regulations, or federal and international shipping laws. These restrictions help ensure that all shipments comply with the policies of major carriers such as USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx.

Common categories of prohibited items include:

  • Dangerous or hazardous materials (explosives, flammable liquids, toxic chemicals)

  • Weapons and firearm-related items

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Cash, financial instruments, and high-value negotiables

  • Biological materials and medical waste

  • Live animals or restricted wildlife products

  • Perishable food requiring refrigeration

  • Counterfeit or illegal goods

  • Damaged lithium batteries or improperly packaged electronics

  • Items restricted under carrier or export regulations

Because shipping regulations can change and may vary by carrier, merchants should always confirm that their products comply with applicable rules before creating labels.
